Roll Player: Review

Remember the fun of making your character in games like Skyrim? “Hey you, you’re finally awake; You were trying to cross the border right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush same as us, and that thief over there.” ~ Raloff, from Skyrim.  And then five and half minutes later, you finally get to pick your race! Grr… Well, forget loading times and movie sequences. Fairway’s skipping all that frustration and is going play Roll Player, a recent Kickstarter delivery from by Keith Matejka and Thunderworks Games, instead. 

Highway to Shell: Review

Fairway loved Frogger growing up. There’s something lovable about the idea of a frog trying to cross a road only to drown (?) in a river. Today, Fairway picks up what feels like the board game equivalent of Frogger, Highway to Shell, by Concrete Canoe Games. 

Endangered Orphans of Condyle Cove: Video Review

In episode 35, we take a look at a dark game about orphans getting taken by the boogeyman! Endangered Orphans of Condyle Cove plays 2-3 players and lasts about 30 minutes. Players attempt to be the last orphan to not run out of options or commit an act of desperation that brings along the boogeyman!
