Fairway boldly goes where a whole bunch of other people have already gone. However, since AEG recently released a mass produced version of The Captain is Dead, Fairway thought he’d take the time and review The Captain is Dead: TOPOD version. That is “The Original Print on Demand” version he picked up from The Game Crafter.

Fairway returned from Protospiel Madison having played a bunch of prototype games from a lot of up and coming game designers. Some of these designers were kind enough to let him feature their games in this round up of games.
For fans of the original The Captain is Dead, it should come as no surprise that the Captain is still dead. Having jumped to warp and survived drifting through an asteroid belt, those aliens are hopping mad. This time they’re not just boarding the ship in little groups.
